Can I convert my 416 hk 22lr
My brand new conversion kit wouldn’t run auto in my colt m16. I tried it with very little lube all the way up to a lot. Wouldn’t run but a few rounds at a time. paperweight
I've worked with CAM/CAD software for 30 years, and honestly, the whole assembly looks pretty low quality. But it is only a .22… Sadly Geisely is pretty fat and over rated… for 2018…

It looked like a feeding problem. Because i didnt see a round eject after each miss fire. Ive noticed feeding trouble with 22lr promag. But never had any trouble with the CMMG Mags.

Do you have any favorite mags or mags that work better than others? I ran into the same problems you did and I'm in the process of replacing the hammer spring with a jp customs reduced weight spring and changing out the recoil spring. Thanks for the info!
.22's weren't meant to be full auto, the cartridge is too small and the recoil it produces isn't ideal for full auto. Thats why you have the intermittent misfires or jams.

Thanks ,I have been fighting my cmmg 22 kit for some time, running it on a Colt M16A1 lower and never runs full auto, I have all the parts you have but shoots semi fine.
I got the factory recoil spring in mine and have around 4 years on it and it still runs like a raped ape.. 90+ percent on full auto.
