  1. It's a sweet shooter, isn't it? It's not just Vietnam era though, I carried an A1 into the 1990s, while I was in the Army. The channel image of myself that I use, is me in 1990 in fact. I'm holding an A1 with an M-203 attached.

  2. Ok so when a person takes the time to buy all the proper parts to build the era correct m16 a1 rifle and the tools to build it with oh yeah and your time to do it  You'll still wind up spending around $1000 bucks or better and it still won't be 100% mil spec  !!!!

  3. Wow……this is the first time I have seen someone actually get a AR-15A1 repro build spot on.
I saw one guy who came close but he had 3 prong flash hider, which was appropriate to the
M-16 and the XM-16E1, instead of the correct bird cage flash hider with all open slots.

Aside from not being dark grey in color I would say it was very much like the M-16A1 I used in the US Army in 70's and 80's

    Well done sir.

  4. Nice job. Great looking weapon. Don't know if you remember the original flash suppressors were 3 pronged and had no ring connecting them together around the end of the barrel. Besides the barrel getting caught on things we used the suppressors to open wooden gun and ammo crates by sliding them onto the steel bands and turning our rifles to snap the steel bands off, lol. Hey, that's what we were taught. Of course we had full auto so accuracy wasn't a real concern back then. Boy would I love to have one of those original M-16's. Sure wouldn't open crates with them now, lol. Hey man great video. Thank you and congrats.
