When one has never done it before this is most helpful. A friend loaned me the tools. I love how you just turned the delta ring to remove hand guard to removed foregrip. I needed an special tool loaned to me. Thumbs up.
I strip my screws every time. I dont really understand how. Maybe my hexkey is slightly the wrong size or something.
Plastic forearm grips are not good..! I bought a magpul and it almost broke.. Going with a metal one this time.. I also upgraded my plastic ruger sights to iron sights worth the money.. I own a Ruger 556 and I’m replacing the original BCG to an Aero-Percision BCG, Replacing the original charging handle to a Radian Raptor,
couldn’t figure out how to install the M-LOK grip on the carbine hand guard and found out I needed that tool. Helped a lot
Magpul generally shits gold, but this one is kind of dumb. Needing such an obscure tool to install something as simple as a VFG is ridiculous.

What kind pf upper has a delta ring like that? I've never seen a threaded one before. Only those god awful heavily sprung ones
Looks like a regular L shapred hex key will be too short for this installation given the length of the grip, hence the long wrench you used, is that correct?
