R these critters spring loaded?
Flying ground squirrels awesome.lmao in Texas
I think a regular AR with a 1/9 twist fluted barrel would be better. Cheaper too.
Based on the like and dislike ration, I reckon 26 animal 'rights' weenies got triggered by a lawful activity.
Not the smartest animals just staying around when bullets fly
I looked at this gun today there were two options, one w heavy barrel and without. What is your opinion on the lighter Model? Thanks and great video!
further to the below comment 17 WSM is now available in the UK
$2,069.99
why is the cost so high
If farmers didn't have crop insurance and 100% of the cost of crop damage and loss was passed along to we consumers. You'd see tree huggers and vegan's on mass culling out varmints.
Not for 1700 dollars
Great shooting, is the disclaimer truly necessary?
How did you get an adjustable stock on it? Franklin Armory's website says you need an A2 butt stock and tube to work right. Thanks for your videos though. I appreciate what you do
Where in Northern California are You?
I'd love to shoot me some ground squirrels.
its an awesome round…
very nice build bud…very nice
Just out of curiosity, what do you do with all the kills?
I just got one of these uppers. I'm curious to know what buffer you used to run a carbine stock. I know it has to be longer then a regular carbine buffer. Also will a regular carbine spring work with it? Thanks in advance.
Can you eat those Groundsquirrels ? I am not from the US so not familiar with em…. We don´t have anything alike in europe….
How much is the upper and can you slap it on a standard AR lower?
Where in California? What's the process to go up there and hint them
Thanks for posting this review. Nice shots too! Great to hear that you were able to buy the upper only. I have a lower that I've been saving for an interesting build and the F17 is it. Thanks again.
Do hog hunts
I gotta ask … can you eat these ground squirrels? i mean do they taste good?
you have a 223 scope on that fa-17 is 17 wsm trajectory the same ass a 223
ugly
There's a new rifle a7 savage auto for $450
That's insane over priced
What's the price for the upper ??
how do you like the AP mount? I just purchased their SPR lightweight mount and I'm slightly anxious that the light weight will translate to less rigidity — i'm planning to mount it on an AeroPrecision M4E1 upper and matching rail with 18" BA Hanson SS Premium Series barrel … have you had any POI shift over time or other concerns? I really don't want to add anymore weight to my build since the 18" BA Hanson barrel is rather heavy
hello, I was wondering where exactly is it where you went varmint hunting here in northern California? and if one where to go could you actually go, notify the farmer's and then pluck away at the pests?
Hullo Eric, is the recoil so low that the hunter does not lose the target through the scope?
It seems that the Franklin Armory F17 and the Volquartsen are very hard to find: no one of them on Cheaperthandirt neither on Ableammo.
Many thanks for sharing.
Ultimate varmint rifle is a AR15 cambered in .204 Ruger.
it's great to see one in action. every since Franklin came out with this, I've wanted one for squirrels.
but the price they want just for the upper -$1200, not including extra magazine – a squirrel rifle… no thank you kind sir !!!
