The BCM 12.5” Kino 5.56 AR-15 upper receiver group is essentially a mini dissipator. We do some shooting with it, test the accuracy, go over the details, and what I think of it overall.

If you eat the booty like groceries you will not come correct and get pink eye
BCM really needs to do this with a straight lightweight barrel profile. I love mine, and it is not “heavy,” but the extra mass is just that.
Me like! 12.5 is the bestest.
So would the PSA lower with the SB brace be okay to throw under this upper?
So that’s a 9” rail, not the 10” bcm qrf?
Great video sir. God Bless America!
well time to build up another pistol lol SAID the ATF
i guess now's a good time to release this since the whole craze of needing to shave off .005 ounces from ones gun has died down.
not for me with the quad rail but love the 12.5 (and 11.5) offerings, tired of the 10.5 and want the extra velocity.
If you would please, 556 – 62gr just to see what it will do out of a barrel that is under 16". Great review thank you.
Good stuff lord commander… I now know my next build. Thanks for the link
Love AR reviews and set up videos!
How come no one has bothered to make a suppressed version of an actual Dissipator? Would solve the under gassed issues. Or even the military, plenty of old M16s in storage ready to be chopped down!
I've not had any issues with 10.5 AR pistols as far as reliability goes, but I can see the velocity factor some may want from the 12.5 barrel. I also don't shoot Tula, too many inconsistencies, but I found Wolf and RAS to be a lot better, especially in accuracy vs Tula. No issues at all with XM193 or M855.
Love me some 12.5 AR.
Do a legends pro ammo review the like 6$ a box
I guess I'm old school because I love me some quad rails
The BCM factory is right down the road from me and I know a few people who have seen it in person. From what i hear its incredible! Imbtold the working conditions and Quality control is top notch.
Great video and review 12.5 Kino
Pure kino
BCM = 100% quality.
Anderson and PSA are just as good as BCM and KAC.
MIKE, I seriously think the wind on your target setup that’s blowing it around is skewing your accuracy results. PLEASE FIX IT NOW !!!!!!
Are you going to put your full auto lower on this and see how far it goes?? I would love to see more of meltdown
Really bored and ran out of things to watch? Time to resort to an AR upper review
There is a sell on plate carriers at " Cold Dead Hands." Check it out.
I feel your pain on the heat. I live in south Mississippi. Really not looking forward to August
The Kino has to be my single favorite all-around AR configuration. Also, BCM does PIN the lowpro gas block on these. I don't know why they do on these and not all the others, but they do. I just got another a few weeks ago and it is pinned and screwed in like the 1st one I got years ago.
Mike, how do you like those Inforce APLs? Are they 'just as good' as a SureFire or is SureFire still the kang?
We’re on the dock today, so please bear with the geese you hear in the background.
Love my Kino. I jumped on mine quick because they have a tendency to sell out.
So a 12.5 barreled AR-15 with a carbine extension tube will meet the 26in requirements use a vertical grip?
Very Cool AR-15 Upper from Bravo Company. Thanks for showing it Mrgunsngear.
Y not make it a gas length gas system? Doesn’t make too much sense to me to do it the way they did unless I’m missing something. And of course we all know mid length has systems will reduce felt recoil slightly so that would be a win win.
11.5” E3 or CQBR Block II… only shorties you should be rollin wit
Anybody keep noticing the fish feeding off the top of the river behind gunsngear? I could use a little catfish right about now…
If they made it without that front site I would seriously consider it. I am waiting for the PSA 10.5 upper with the FN barrel and Giessle handguard to come back in stock.
If by Syria you mean Phoenix then yes
irie indeed
good grouping
really a great looking rifle dude
I built a 12.5 with a mid gas system, it runs really well. As long as bcm would appropriately size the gas port they can just go with a mid on this barrel length.
Unfortunately it's out of stock on the bare bones option.
