I received this grip from Resurgent Arms for review quite a while ago. I’ve been using it a lot since. After many hours on the range with it, I decided to post this review.

  1. This seems like a nifty alternative to a Thordsen, which is (IMO) the benchmark for featureless stock/grip configurations. As long as you can pin your AR stock to featureless compliance, then it seems to be a good fit. All said… as an Arizonan, I am tired of having one set of arms for The United States of America, and a whole other set of arms for the PRC. However, Mark Astrohat Kelly is running for the Senate, so who knows.😳

  2. I get pissed for you guys in Cali. The rules aren’t for anything less that crowd control. The biggest indicator of this is the non-detachable, permanently attached magazine. They know that good citizens with a proper rifle is a threat. It isn’t about saving lives.

  3. I am a left handed shooter and recently purchased this kit. They do offer an ambidextrous safety kit as well. So far it is the most comfortable set up I have used. Great product and very reasonable price.

  4. California laws:

    Featureless = -High cap mags
    -fixed stock only
    -no muzzle break
    -no pistol grip
    Fixed mag = 10 round fixed max
    -collapsible stock
    -muzzle break
    -pistol grip
    .22LR = Do whatever you want!! Threaded barrels with fake suppressors, foregrips, pistol grips, collapsible stocks, evil flash hiders, etc.

    A fixed mag with over 30 rounds is a felony. Don't play those games. Even with freedom week mags.

  5. I got the kit( grip, stock pin and thread protector) and went out shooting it last weekend. I think it's great. Yep, I'd rather have a pistol grip, but I think this is the best alternative on the market, next up, a muzzle brake.

  6. I have this grip with an ACE Doublestar UL stock. It doesn't really work. The stock endcap digs into your hand and its really annoying. I was able to dremel off the hard corners off the endcap and its usable but still kinda annoying

    Also they make Righty, Lefty, and Ambi safeties, they just didn't send it to you
