  1. Hey Sootch,,,, been watching you vids to see what variable 1-4 scope to get for my Run and Gun Center biathlon build. Which one would you recommend between the trijicon accupower or the Leopold VXR Patrol in this video. Or do you have another to recommend over them both. Really love your vids. GIDDY UP!

  2. I really dislike when people say that Leupold is all made here in the USA. Like if it would make a difference in quality. The Leupold scope's most important feature is it's lenses and they are made in Japan. The best scopes are like Schmidt and Bender and they are made in Germany. Barrels in rifles for example. The highest quality barrels aren't from the US, Bergara's for example are from Spain or like Browning rifles having Miroku Japanese barrels.

  3. I think I have a 1.1-8x but it's something like Schmidt & Bender type quality, and the price is north of $2,500. It's smokin good deal, IMHO! Argon, Krypton, Neon, and Helium are all nobel gases that won't react with ANYTHING at all. Nitrogen can react with coatings on the glass. Helium is very hard to seal, because the atoms are so darned small, but they do make a helium filled scope. BRING MONEY! As much as you can find!

  4. I wish my story with this scope was good but I have owned this scope for a little over a year and it is now going back to luepold for a second time because the firedot keeps shutting off after every shot again.the first time they had it for more than a month after I paid thirty dollars to ship it back.I am just very upset because my brother has the conparible vortex and paid 2 hundred dollars less for it and has no malfunctions but the luepold glass is much better but the electronics are faulty.and if anyone wants to know I have changed the battery and tried to adjust the torque on the battery cap but it is still malfunctioning under recoil.on top of everything I have to remount the scope and re-zero the scope again and for someone like me that barely has the time or money to go shooting then this is a major pain in the ass to keep doing.just hope they get it right this time.has anyone else experienced faulty electronics on these scopes?
