A close look at a new in box Del-Ton Flat Top 16″ Middy, Midwayusa product number 751604. Also, I mispoke about the barrel contour. Midway shipped me two heavy barrels instead of the government contour barrels. I apoligise for the confusion

I just got a very similar 16" mid-length, 1×7 complete barreled upper from Del-Ton, and the rear takedown pin lug has high spots on the sides that are preventing it from seating into my Ruger lower. Customer service is good. They sent me a return label so I won't have to pay for shipping, but I've got my fingers crossed that the one they send back fits.

  2. Uppers look good, but when discussing barrels, it's always good to talk about rate of twist, whether or not it has a chrome lined chamber and bore, markings, etc., instead of how its exterior is smooth. Was the heavier barrel that you spend most time on marked Hbar, 1/7, CL, etc.? THAT is what's important, not whether there's preservative grease, which is a good thing, or whether the gas rings on the brand new bolt aren't worn in.

  4. Cant beat a mid-length heavy barrel, when it comes to barrel life/barrel longevity… They also come in a 1/7 Twist, was looking to buy a BCM 16" SOCOM upper, but for the price i think i'll be picking one of these up instead… nice vid bro👌✌

  5. You don't want the bolt to move freely in the carrier, if it does the gas rings are toast, the resistance your feeling is normal. I have a complete Del ton 16" M4 and I bought an A2 upper, for an A2 lower built on a Spikes lower, they are both extremely accurate. My first 3 shots with both key holed, and they ware sighted in with less than 10 shots.

  6. Just got mine, it is beautiful! 😀 Gorgeous and slick chrome M16 BCG. Got the lower parts with it, if Gander Mountain hadn't screwed around and ignored Del-Ton's requests to fax their FFL info for eleven days- that's right eleven days- then I would have received the stripped lower at least a week ago and I would have a complete rifle right now, just in time to go up north on Labor Day weekend to test it out.Now I gotta wait 'til Tuesday. :(Stupid Gander Mountain.

  7. great video im from maryland and we have some of the worse gun laws here and we are required to have hbar barrels which is hard to find and very prricey why would the best place to order a hbar barrel from? if anyone can help thanks

  9. Great,.. I should a' done like you and ordered two,… But, I watched your review intently as I am waiting on mine for delivery on Wednesday, this is Monday, and Now I cant sleep !! Its your fault,..!!! ….LOL Seriously though, thanks for the tidbits of info on the upper, the whole reason I was drawn to this model was the barrel,..and price but I noticed it online to be a sweet profile

  11. Bought mine from a local gun shop a couple weeks ago, upper Del-Ton kit included 2 pmags, lower parts kit, M4 stock all for $490, bought a Spikes Tactical stripped lower for $100, less than half hour and had completed AR. 

  15. Mrrunyon. Go with palmetto state armory I got a 20 inch cold hammer forged FN barrelled upper with a free float fifteen inch parallax tactical soil quad rail for 550. 1 in 7 twist.

  18. yuo're absolutely right , excuse me, its a 16" . from midway as well .644662 is the product # .sorry about that . glad you enjoy yours. im excited, believe it will ship feb 7th . we'll see . this will be my first AR build. mating it to a code red lower, and ill mod as i go. but this will make for a great base to work off of . great review, and thank you again. be well .

  19. Did you get the 14.5" with an extended flash hider? If not you will violate federal law if you pin that to a lower, and depending on your state you can be charged with intent just for having all the pieces. If you did not order it with an extended FH, they are very easy to install and quite cheap so dont worry. But as for del-ton's fitment it was fantastic. And the shooting was quite great as well. You will not be disappointed with your purchase!

  20. just ordered an upper a month ago right after the rush, on backorder but im confident. anyways, i got to 14" mid length , with chrome 1:7 , and m4 ramps etc. i go the thick barrel, so if the govt contour is that nice, im excited to see what im going to get. meanwhile. how does it shoot, and how was fitment. thank you for your service, deff going to check out your other videos. be well people.
