Streamlight TLR-3 Weapon Mounted Tactical Light Review (HD)

Will the Streamlight TLR-3 fit on the Steyr L9 A1? Thanks!

The issue I'm having with mine is that even with the correct insert, mine will tilt up if I tighten it all the way. I have to leave enough slack for it to be able to slide back and forth a little and rattle, otherwise it won't fit in any holsters.

Will this stand up to hot 10mm recoil?

Check out the Olight PL-2 Valkyrie 1,200 Lumens. Best I've seen so far. Very bright and good battery life.

Great post! I'm a Surefire-a-holic, but yet all my duty lights (save the shotgun, a Surefire/Malkoff hybrid!) are Streamlights… Quality products, first responder prices, and a awesome warranty (like you said)! But, I recommend Surefire – only cause the R&D guys at Streamlight seem to be dickheads! Otherwise a awesome company!

I just bought a tlr3 and then bought the usp adapter after so i could switch it between pistols and im going to tell anyone looking at putting this on a usp, YOU DONT NEED THE ADAPTER!!! Sipmly take the insert out and its ready to be slapped on any USP! The usp just lacks the slot from your standard pic rails, and because you dont have to slide the light on from the front there's no problem using the standard lights mounting hardware…

Bought this and a ggand g adapter for a full size usp. How close is the light suppose to be to the trigger guard? Mine seems to have a slight gap between them forcing me to reach a little further with my hand to activate it.

+Mrgunsngear Channel I was looking to purchase one for my Glock 23 Gen 3, but I have read when attached it causes failures to feed. Have you had any experience with testing the Glock 23?

Hey brother hope you are well, I know this is an old video but I wanted to say that I bought one of these lights about 6 months ago. I really like it alot. I bought it to mount on my Glock 23 duty pistol. It feels great, problem is I cannot find a holster that works for this light. Our duty holsters are typically Safariland light holsters. I emailed Safariland few months back and they couldn't find me a holster. The light is thicker then the other TLR lights. I even tried grinding/filing one of my older light holsters but it didnt work out very well. Any recommendations for a holster?

I hate the silver ring that are on all of the Streamlight products. I think it is ugly and should not be on a light that is used for tactical purposes. I only wished they would get rid of that silver ring around the bezel. Maybe I would buy one if that ever happens.

Assembled in the USA, but it's made in China. People, get over it! Who cares where it's made. There are tons of stuffs made in China that is garbage, but there are tons of them are excellent. What you paid, what you get!

What is your opinion of a hand held light vs weapon mounted light for a rifle? I often see flash lights attacked but wouldn't a weapon mounted attaching to a pic rail be as effective? Is it because you can remove it to use as a flashlight if you needed to?

How does the TLR-3 fit on your original Canik TP9? I noticed that the newer TP9SA offers additional slots on the rail that seem to work well. Does the single slot on the original TP-9 work with the TLR-3?

do you know if it is ok to use rechargeable CR2s in this light? does it matter?

have a TLR-1 HL on my gen 4 glock and love it. definitely going to get more streamlights. sadly cant use it when i carry, such a pain to find a holster to fit with that light. btw, the skeleton mask in the beginning of the video where did you get it? i found so many that are junk, cant get a good one. awesome video review, keep em coming
