It’s time to rethink what you really need a stock to do. It’s time to rethink what a stock can do. It’s time to reject the status quo, the compromises we all have taken for what is, rather than think about what can be. The AR as a compact platform has always felt like an amalgamation of ad hoc fixes rather than a dedicated system of components designed from the ground up to work in harmony with the shooter. Once again, Strike Industries has the solution: the Pit Viper stock system.

The Pit Viper is designed to work in concert with the Advanced Receiver extension. By interfacing with the keyed receiver extension, the additional points of contact results in a fitted feel and rattle free, rock solid lock up. Despite the additional strength, the minimalist design weighs only 4 oz.

In this case, minimalist does not mean feature free. The stock can be adjusted out to three positions to create a more custom fit for the shooter. Ambidextrous QD swivels are built in for a strong, integrated solution. The orbital stock shape, introduced with the Viper PDW, creates an ergonomic, secure shoulder weld, even in the unorthodox shooting positions characteristic of vehicle born, or extreme close quarters conditions the form factor is designed to dominate.

Pair with the upcoming Viper Enhanced Pistol Grip (PDW angle) for the ultimate ultra-compact, yet ergonomic, AR15.

  1. I just got mine after waiting for over a month and it's going back tomorrow. The length of pull is super short even with it extended the one notch. Mine rubs on the buffer tub so much adjusting length of pull is pointless as it doesn't move at all. It's so bad I had to tap it off with a rubber mallet! I'm putting the Magpul MOE buttstock inhadnonnthe gun back on a d sending this back. I love my other Strike stuff but this was a major fail for me. Save your money. And I'm not a huge Magpul fan/supporter either.

  2. This is one of the only firearm related manufacturers if not the only firearm accessories manufacturer in the world that incorporates innovation, usefulness and Bad Assery into Every Single One Of Their Products!! I Love Strike Industries !!

  3. Looks very cool but it's for those who don't use they rifle I'd assume. That buffer tube is gonna suck on super cold weather or left out in the scorching heat. And talk about beard hair beingng pulled…. Ouch

  4. I really like the stock, however the length is very short even at the most extended. I contacted S.I. about my concern and they responded and said they will be offering a new designed buffer tube or stock it's self, I can't remember which, however it will be called the PRO series. Date of release is not yet available.

  5. WARNING: The Pit Viper stock is only compatible with the Strike Industries 7 Position Advanced Receiver Extension! Not compatible with any other manufacturer's buffer tube. Sold separately.

  6. They should've just made this stock a pistol brace. I would like more options than just SB Tactical and KAK Pistol brace. SI teased the PDW Brace but never followed through 😢😢😢😢😢😢
