Dangit. I'm building my rifle and had thought that .223 Wylde was gonna be my chamber. I was set on that. And then you show me this and start praising the Grendel after I had tried hard to bury my desire for the Grendel, and now I'm conflicted.
Also, if I had the cash, I'd definitely pick up that rifle. Dagum it's nice.
Love my Grendel bolt action. Howa did a really good job with the 1500 mini. I reload mine with the RDF 130’s
Get a propriety made 6.5 Grendel 30 round magazine from Magpul and you will have a winner.
I would love to see some reloading for a 24” barrel for a 6.5 Grendel.
Couldn't be any more perfect with timing . I just finished my own Grendel build . Can't wait to see what videos you come out with this cartridge . And as always keep up the awesome videos

I have a Larue in 6.5 Grendel, and I did think the walls of the bolt were a little thin, too. About four thousand rounds later however, I've found that to not really be that big an issue. Test sample of one, though.
Mine's an 18", and I've reliably gone to 1k yards, using Hornady Black 123gr factory stuff, then reloaded the brass to try out a bunch of different projectiles. The SMK 107s are fantastic, and I'd like to see you try those out, too. Especially out of your shorter barrel.
Nice rifle, only thing I do not like on it is the butt stock! lol I personally like a little beefier butt stock.
That thing really needs a suppressor. All in all a very nice rifle. Might need to add that to my list of rifles that I wanna get.
Are you going to do a printable info guide for 6.5 Grendel like you did with 6.5 creedmoor?
It appears that CMMG has solved the problem of the weak bolt for the .220 Russian variant cartridges for a gas gun. Looks like CMMG has invented the "AR-12.5". I feel like the 6.5 Grendel is an outstanding cartridge in a gas gun as well as a bolt gun.
This may open the door for more Wildcats based on that parent cartridge.

Is the magwell longer than a standard AR-15 magwell?
Proprietary rifle parts no way!!! Grendel's run great in milspec AR rifles minus bolt and barrel. This rifle is a marketing ploy and I personally would never pay anywhere near MSRP for it. But glad someone is showing the capability of grendel.

A very nice review ! A very nice rifle … as a hybrid I would definitely say they bombed proofed that rifle. I'm not sure that most people would be willing to pay the MSRP. Obviously there is a market for it. Thanks for sharing !🤗

Im working on a 6.5 grendel ar build right now for the next deer season here in Washington state. Is there any options out there for a stonger bolt in a mil spec upper?
I shoot Grendel in a bolt gun. I absolutely love the 6.5 Grendel cartridge. So efficient for such a little guy.
I like how it doesn't include the useless forward assist.
