So what does $129 get you these days in terms of a completed, mil-spec lower? The PSA PA-15 lower gives you a good idea. Build quality is excellent, just one or two spots in the finish which classified this lower as a blemeshed model which with the application of some CLP or Rem Oil should seal in the finish just fine. This lower is part of a mid length gas system upper with a 16″ carbine length barrel.

GO BIG RED!
That's a good deal. They have the classic pistol lower right now for $99
Whats the model #? Also will it accept higher calibers? Like for hog hunting?
I still want to see that Ammo Cat Seal of Approval splash up on the screen whenever he (she?) makes an appearance.
The FFL fee is why I bought my stripped lowers locally and just ordered the lower build kits from PSA. I paid about $54 for the first one and $43 for the other. The parts kit runs about $80, so I a total of $134 for the first and no FFL fee.
Great budget firearms from PSA. Have a PSA retail store about 20 mins from the house. 😀
You are going to have a nice budget build when done as very nice…Good stuff…
hey when it comes to forged lowers they all come from the same few places…you might have forge marks on the lower some where (look for a C, a keyhole, or other markings)…often times the cheap lowers are either military contract rejects or direct purchase from places like psa, but the quality should be fine.
hey what are you doing with the upper?
spray paint that bitch!
The PSA blemished products are an awesome way to save $. I've NEVER had a bad one.
