Today we take a look at the Bear Creek Arsenal 16 inch complete upper that I got for $180. we are just over 1000 rounds in this specific AR from BCA has a 16 inch 1:8 twist barrel from BCA with a very lightweight profile. All BCA barrels are aimed at around 1MOA however we will see how accurate this specific upper is.

i have a couple BCA uppers…1 wylde and one x39, the wylde one was flawless the x39 i had to hone the chamber it would occasionally have extraction problems with steel cases

Here is a tip to those interested in BCA. If you go to their website, you can order their uppers direct to your door. You may find that many are shown as "out of stock". Create an account at their website and enter your email to be notified when the upper you want is in stock. You will get an email in 2-3 days (one time I got an email the same day) saying the units are in stock. I have talked to the factory reps, they say they check the "requests" every day and build uppers to meet the requests. They focus on building the most popular ones, but if someone is asking for a particular model, they will build a few. Just be ready to buy it, because they do not hold them for you. When you get the email, go back to the site and buy it. Their shipping is very fast.
BCA Rocks! I have bought three of their uppers, (pistol, carbine and 20" HBAR $189-224 each complete and delivered) attached them to Anderson lowers and ALL of them are very accurate and 100% reliable. Use the money you save on the lower and the BCA upper to buy a GOOD lower parts kit with a 3 lb. drop in trigger and you will not be disappointed!

I'm not going to lie. Last year I spent about $30,000 on gun stuff. So this year to redeem myself to my credit cards in my wife I started buying budget things.. I had two anyways because I can't afford to keep going the way I was. And I probably have about six BCA barrels. And recently acquired a 50 Beowulf BCA upper with a side charging handle. I absolutely love each and every one of their barrels. I've had nothing but success with every single one of them. Thus far, everyone has had pretty much has had great MOA. I have not yet to sit down with each barrel and find out the best ammo for each one as I usually buy ammo in bulk or reload just for plinking. But dca's definitely a name I trust. And to get quality for a great price makes everybody happy

From everything I've read and heard, the .223 wylde can only shoot .223 because the wylde barrel is not meant for the pressures of the 5.56.
What did you do to break in the barrel on this upper.

My bca x39 upper shoots moa with cheap polyformance hp's It's quite amazing, I had no idea that x39 was capable of such accuracy especially with the cheapest ammo you can buy, paid 199 for it, it has become easily one of my favorites to shoot.
