those spots in he water or more than likely where fish have spawned. 4:24, shooting with your eyes closed, are you scared? Both you guys need to take some serious classes on Safety from what I see. For one shooting into water is not the best target especially a shallow creek or river full of rocks. Just some friendly advice, don't get offended. A sound I will never forget was the sound of a bullet passing by my ear after it hit a rock 50 yards away.

Have you had any malfunctions or problems with this gun?  I'm looking at buying a AR in the near future and DPMS are among those I'm considering but there are just so many AR brands out there that it's hard to make up my mind.

Yep, for a stock AR at that price point…you can afford to upgrade all the accessories! Most of my stuff is Magpul.

I believe it is from Troy Industries. You can search "engraved dust cover" on Bing or Google and find them easily. It's engraved into the metal, so it won't ever wear off. Great little add on.

We have several places we go. The Lampasas River is very big. Many secluded places to shoot. Ranges suck!

Yeah…I just like to make fun of him when I can…We were having problems with the magazine comming out of the mag well all by it's self…it is a problem caused by the Troy Ind. ambi mag release upgrade to the rifle. I'm going to have to replace it with the original parts…when I figure it out.

You know…I really like it. I haven't had any issues with it when we go out to shoot it. We had one problem when he bought a 30 round magazine for it ( I think that was it's capacity) I'm guessing it was a cheap "aftermarket" mag. But other than that it has worked flawlessly every time.

What do you think about that High Point – does it work for you pretty well?

Funny blooper, ya have to cut him a bit of slack though. I bet he was using an A2 over seas and that would be a totaly different feel than that tricked out beauty you have. I wish I had one.

Yeah…being a lefty throws ppl off sometimes, I watch my vids and other "righty" vids and notice it right away. It is a great place…I'm going to camp in that area the next time I go out. Getting to it is a little difficult, so not many people go there. Which is good for me…better security while I'm there. The water is pretty nice in this spot. The river is very low…last time I was there ( this time last year), we wouldn't have been able to be where we were, would have been underwater.
