MRO VS Aimpoint PRO Patrol?
You don’t get paid to destruct your sight, why would one want to own a f*cked up looking $500.00 sight?
I can't compare it to a t-2. But i had a t-1 and mro at the same time. I really liked both and didn't notice a big difference with either. Until I shot at dusk at 200 yards at a 10 inch plate. There was a BIG difference, the MRO is much better with low light shooting. I could make consistent hits with the MRO and hit half the time with the t-1. They were mounted on the same type of rifles (LWRC's). It wasn't only my eye that preferred the MRO, my buddy noticeably liked the MRO better in this scenario. He is only a hunter and not a big shooter so he doesn't know which optic is the "coolest" so I think his opinion is the least bias. That is the only noticeable difference between these two optics. I could care less which one is better, im not a fanboy of either. So take this info for what it is worth.

The newer ones are supposed to be true 1x per Trijicon‘ site.
you are incorrect about the magnification. Trijicon confirmed that it was 1.05 on the old model(the one you have here). And the new model which the glass is a true 1.0 magnification. For fifty dollars you can send the old ones to trijicon and they will replace them with the new lenses that are true 1x
Trijicon says it's magnified, for units up to serial# 80,000. After that they nixed the magnification

I know that the tube-type red dots have a blue tint to them but I own 3 Eotech's and there is NO blue coloration in the lens whatsoever.
It actually is very slightly magnified – I believe 1.05x, which is slightly more then an aimpoint at 1.02x.
