  1. Sir, I order one due to your video and Vuurwapon's video and I truly love the ergonomics. I go, by the old saying and that is, "all that is useful is simple and all that is difficult is not useful." I find like you said, " to take off your barrel nut and re-install is a pain and I see it as creating risk damaging your rifle as well. VLTOR is simple, and I like it, and are there better more, than likely, but this is simple and does the job.

  2. Any hand guard would do really. If you're on a budget, I suggest getting the AB arms mod1 hand guard (Literally like 30$ on Amazon). It will do just as you need to, keep the hands cool and is very comfortable to hold. Good for someone with smaller hands.

But if you have the money this would be just as good, maybe better. Have not tested either out. But if you can't find these, Magpul hand guard and the AB arms hand guards are good start, and a lot cheaper (Under 100$)

  3. I dearly want one of these rails, but due to the fact that I will be introducing my 12 year old to shooting, I am concerned about possible heat build up. His first day out on the range could be a real bummer if his little hands get burned. Can you give me any feedback on this issue?
