in the Corp we qualified with the m16 at 500 meters with iron sights

full size silhouette target 13 out of 15 center mass.
62 gr. PMC XTAC green tip.
Used a range bag like you did.
Not real easy with a non magnified optic.
What ammo were you using?
You can hear it hit. When it hit the water that was a ricochet.
If you listen really close you can all of the hits, I think what you are seeing that you think are misses is the shrapnel of the bullet coming back and hitting the water.. Thx for watching
