Recently, there has been misinformation spread that gives the impression that NRA-ILA supports Georgia Senate Bill 150.  The NRA OPPOSES Senate Bill 150 and due to the efforts of your NRA, SB 150 has been tabled for this session and will not progress further.

Senate Bill 150, sponsored by Senator Jen Jordan (D-6), would have expanded the category of individuals who have their Second Amendment rights revoked.  Existing federal law already prohibits domestic violence offenders from possessing firearms.  SB 150 would have gone beyond the scope of existing federal law to cover certain offenses that are not domestic violence or are not violent and prohibit individuals from possessing firearms in the same manner as domestic violence offenders.

Please stay tuned to www.nraila.org and your email inbox for further updates on this bill and other issues affecting Second Amendment rights in Georgia.
