Holds 2x cr123 but has anyone tried putting a single 18650 battery in it?
Does that leaf spring markup the buffer tube when adjusting? Want a ddc geissele buffer tube but not if it’ll just get marked up

I would love to see a review on the B5 SOPMOD, B5 Bravo, and SL-S all side by side by side comparison!! Can we make that happen? Love the look of the B5 SOPMOD and storage as well as the SL-S but to hear your input would be appreciated for sure

Is it the same wide as the SOPMOD stock?
I genuinely LOVE Magpul furniture overall, I run the K2 SL grip on everything , I run the SL handguard on any rifle that has an FSB/Delta-Ring on it, I run their BUIS on all my rifles and I'm (happily) dedicated to M-Lok at this point with the majority of my accessories but when it comes to stocks (other then the CTR), I just don't like Magpul, esp. not the SL. While It's not quite as odd-looking (read: ugly) as some of the modern, overly stylized crap (Blackhawk, DD, BCM etc,) that looks like it fell off a lowered Honduh, it's not what I'd call "Slim line" either and I really don't like those big "side saddle" B5-style cheek pieces. I prefer the MFT Minimalist and IMO it fits with the SL theme of the Magpul furniture both in function and looks better then the actual SL stock does.
If you only have 1 Cr123 battery in the compartment will it slide around, or is there some type of spring that keeps it in place? Seems like it would be annoying having a battery sliding back and forth every time you move your rifle.

I tried the CTR once just to have something different on one of my rifles but ended up replacing it with another STR, the STR is pretty much perfect for me so it's on all my rifles. Maaaybe this will find its way onto my next build.
Thoughts on the military looking to replace the m-4 and the .556 and moving to 7.63×51?
I was just curious because I have the STR and to me this SL-S looks much of the same category, just different design
