AR 15 Build 2018 // STOOPID Cheap PART 2

Thanks for the AR-15 Bolt gas ring tip. I never could figure out the problem with my PSA 20” FNH CHF barreled with Geissele M-lock Handguard A2 rifle. It always had mystery short cycle issues. Not picking up the next round quite often while ejecting the spent case. Turns out it was the premium BCG I ordered from PSA on sale for $90 at some point. Just did the bolt test & it failed. The bolt on my FNH FN15 Patrol Carbine passes. Thanks again. I’ll be replacing those ASAP & ordering spares for the future. Great video as always sir. That new rifle of yours gets a pass & you FN know it!

Four times too expensive still.
America desperately needs a $99 AR so that every American who wants one can afford one.
It can have limited range, limited lifespan (1000 rds) and limited durability…
but there is literally nothing about the functional mechanics that shoud necessitate more than 50 bucks plus barrel.

PSA is good for the value I have an AR9 from there an AK and a 300 blackout upper on a pistol all no issues and the AR9 has the echo2 trigger and it dumps the 50 rnd Glock drum magazines with no issues

I just test fired this exact build the other day and my biggest concern was the M lok hand guard got really hot and had a little bit of steam or smoke coming from the barrel underneath the guard. Is this normal?

What's the length from the end of the buffer to tip of the barrel? I'm looking into building one, but in MI, pistol has to be 26" and under in its shortest possible functioning configuration.

I've built over 30 AR's & the last 4 have been with these Palmetto State build kits & they are awesome, I have nothing bad to say about them. They look as good or better then some of the expensive stuff out there & they run great with no failures. Also with the allot of the expensive companies, they don't actually manufacture their stuff, the get their parts from Anderson & others & stamp them & dress them up with their logos & charge 4 to 5 times the money. It's not about price its just about checking up on who's actually making them & the type of testing that's done. The only 2 parts that have to be quality is the Barrel & BCG, essentially everything else on the platform can be plastic (polymer). I say this because I get into these discussions with guys all the time down here in Texas who feel like they know guns & think of you don't spend a few grand on your platform then it's junk, but yet they have never built one (as I have built over 30) & they haven't done the reaserch & testing as I have but just like to argue to make others feel they know something. Palmetto State is putting out some real nice stuff & I highly recommend them for anyone to buy & build one from them.

As far Magnetic Partical Inspection they do put a high pressure round through it. Then perform the inspection.
