  1. Great review. I am looking for a penlight as a gift for a customer and debated on a multi-level light, your points are great. For use on a job site simple is better!

  2. Old video I know, but honestly I love my TI4. I do really wish I could make it start bright and maybe work down in brightness or only have the one brightness, but I have gotten used to switching through the other modes. It has only happened maybe twice, but the moonlight mode being first has come in handy. It has been rare enough that I could lose it altogether and never miss it though. Plus, why on Earth does a pen light need a strobe? lol

I work in a manufacturing facility and there are times I need the brighter light which is really the only reason this beat out my old StreamLight ProTac 2AAA. The smaller size didn't hurt either. If I could find a light the same size with the same output (non-tactical is another plus) that had a single mode or selectable sequence where I could make it start on bright, I'd be on it in a heartbeat. Until then I'll keep using my TI4.
