Why wasn't an Aimpoint used? A $75 red dot vs a $200-$300 optic? LOL. Probably same outcome but cmon, let's waste some money!!!!

Really? Seriously??? This was the best use of your time and money? That said, it was pretty entertaining. What I'd like to see is a "Hold Zero Abuse Test" between a quality red-dot, and a holographic optic. Maybe a SIG Romeo-1 vs. a Vortex EMG UH-1 … a test where zero'd optics take a side-beating similar to a 3-foot drop … and then see which does a better job holding zero. Which is more fragile from a "reasonable abuse" standpoint would probably be more interesting than the "Armageddon Scenario" in this video.
I broke a Pinty red dot before. It was $32 on Amazon. It wouldn't hold zero. So I shot it with my AR. It broke. I felt better…

Aimpoint is at the top of red dots & can take a beating of years on the front line of a battlefield if anyone was wondering. These others are just Chinese cheap copies & work for the average person but aren’t built as tough by any stretch of the imagination.
