My review of the hot off the presses Streamlight TLR-1 HL Led tactical weapon light. This baby’s got 630 lumens of eye searing brightness, is built robust and easy to use. In my opinion it’s one of the top two lights made currently for it’s purpose.

I just bought a TLR-1 HL for my G19. I can't find an IWB holster for it. Any ideas on who might make one?
Will this fit in a toy Berretta pistol.
I've had mine for 1 year now and I love it. The TLR-1 HL is much brighter than the standard TLR-1 light.

Good review, I'm glad you went into the minor details like how it can quick release by pressing in on the screw. I want the light on my g23 for home defense but not necessarily when I'm shooting competition
You didn't mention how much more weight it adds to the gun.

Nice review. I run the Insight M3. Now its a dinosaur in the lumen department and the yellowish beam really shows its age technologically. Ha. When you upgrade a light, a light bearing holster needs to be upgraded too unfortunately. Insight really ticked me off…They offer a bulb/bezel upgrade for $150! I wrote them a said " for $50 I can get a holster and a better light. (TLR) I now do not use your products, great marketing!".
I safty checked off camera and then as well on camera. I did do it first but in editing I mixed around the clips a bit. I like the Surefire too, but I'm trying to figure out why it costs more.

OMG safety check your weapon first! LOL, I have the Sure Fire 300 Ultra (500 lumens) and its really crazy bright for CQB and can be blinding at times!
