  1. thanks for the great video and excellent camera work. i recently purchased a used bushmaster and had no owners manual etc with it. the only recommendation i could make is when talking about putting the bolt back into the lower, that pin that you have to rotate has to be in a very precise position or it wont slide into the lower. i just couldnt get my bolt to slide in like on the video and then i realize that pin was hitting. so maybe just a quick mention of that in your video would help novices like myself. again thanks so much. what a great help

  2. Do you know what size allen tool is needed to swap out the pistol grip? My Colt used a flathead screwdriver, but the Bushie needs an Allen tool. Go figure. Any suggestions?   Thank you

  3. Actually this was the best cleaning video I've seen. My buddy got back from deployment and was just running through everything I'd need to do to clean it thoroughly and I couldn't remember it. With your video I could just watch it, and go do it. Easy stuff, good video. Thanks.

  4. It's not a gun issue…….. It never has been and it never will be. It's a human issue…….. So called gun control proponents are only trying to capitalize on murder victims to further their agenda of total control of your lives.

  5. GUNNIZZELS you're an idiot … if you ever operated the weapon as many have in defense of their lives and the defense of teammates you 1) never would set the weapon down on the eo sight 2) would understand that a piston gun is gas operated it's just not direct impingement 3) recognize that a CQ weapon is defined by many more things than barrel length and 4) know how to spell Picatinny and 5) never believe that adding accessories will improve reliability or quality.

  6. Hello. I just got an m4. Watcheed the strip video, very good. For the first strip and clean< do you need to oil all the way down to the extractor. If so, could you tell me what appliocation is best when doing so? thank you

  7. god damn M4's are psycho with assembly! i never knew how many small parts went into them and especially when i looked in a parts catalog for AR-15/M4 style rifles how they have spring kits and stuff like damn. they're nice to look at but idk if ill ever get one after watching these assembly/disassembly videos haha

  8. The things I would recommend you look for in a Ar-15 are
    1. Piston Operated not gas operated.. makes it easier to clean and allows the ar to be shot in any condition with little cleaning.
    2. Depending on what your going to use it for short barrel for home defense (below 14.5") long barrel (higher than 16") for target shooing a 16 inch barrel is a good all round barrel
    3. Try get a stock rails for the manufacture if possible (Pigatiene rails) cause that will always be the first accessory u buy

  9. Heres what I will tell you. Its pointless to recommend a certain one because its based on your price range. You could get a DPMS for just a little over $500 dollars or you could buy a colt for just a little over $2000 dollars the only diffrence mainly is the quality of the gun.I like my bushmaster cause its what I could afford and its somewhere in the middle in terms of quality and price. Adding accesories will always improve your gun to make it more reliable and make the quality a little better

  10. Well I just took down and reassembled my AR for the first time. Thanks to this video it went very easily.

One suggestion if you ever remake this video. I see this in the video but you did not specifically say to do it, when reinserting the bolt carrier in to the upper please mention that the bolt needs to be in the forward position. This is so that the pin holding the bolt will be in the correct position when going back in to the upper.

Thanks again for a great video!

  11. Great video! I really liked this because your shots were up close and reasonably steady. You also made good use of repeating the steps to reassemble the bolt after it was finished as a quick review.

I just bought my first AR and have not yet taken it apart. Your video will be a big help. Thank you so much for making this!!

One question: my take down pin is *really* hard to push through. Is this just because the rifle is new? I didn't "level" the rifle as you did when pushing out the pin. Thx!
