The reticle is a little too busy in my opinion although it may just be shooter preference.
Shepard doesn't have a transferable warranty….that sucks…Steiner it is
Genuine question; is Shepherd paying or compensating you? Albeit under new ownership, Shepherd developed a infamous reputation in the 80's and 90's for their scopes not holding zero and since then nobody besides you has reviewed their products minus your videos and one other from another YouTuber. To designate this the best 1-8x scope on the market without any other input from the community seems a bit presumptuous and fake.

Came from JH6 livestream and sorry I didn,t come sooner. Always an avid fan and this vid was great. Maybe it was just me but had no footage other than intro…. By the way music and plinking on steel was awesome for the intro. Great vid for info. After all, I do believe that's what we are all here for. Educating ourselves by those who put information forward and by bringing ourselves to do so. Really, after school no one wants to teach without a catch…. and this, YOU ARE one of the great sources for I. Keep it up broskie. My next scope is definitely going to be a 1 power scope. I really want it to be a 1×8 though. I really don't "get" the 1x4s and 1x6s. Why would you not want the extra magnification? Is there something I'm missing?

I think you were really off when you said people pay 10k for a scope.
That's ridiculous nobody pays that much. Your nightforce , US optics, Schmidt and bender, steiners can be had for high 3k and below. 10k sounds ridiculous
Great review. Seems like the Primary Arms 1-8 acss (not the platinum model) is better in every way maybe besides quality of glass.

So you're stuck matching a specific load, in a specific rifle, in a specific environment with this reticle? BDC reticles are gimmicks/idiot proofing for troops and the less knowledgeable civillians. It provides that "close enough" factor for those that couldn't get closer if they had a proper reticle anyways. $1000? Heeeeeeck no!
Even if this thing was 300 bucks, i would STILL pick the primary arms!
