  2. Mr  Potterfield, is the forward assist on the AR 15 A1 different than a modern AR 15 rifle ? I'm building a AR15A1 and the forward assist appears to be somewhat different as the roll pin will pass buy it. Any assistance would be greatly appreciated.

  3. @GoldenRing1989 Staking the bolt carrier key screws keeps them from unscrewing themselves out from the vibrations of cycling back and forth.If they unscrew out of the bolt carrier and the carrier key comes of the carrier while the rifle is being fired you will have one hell of a metal on metal jammed up rifle stopping mess in your upper reciever.

  4. @rawimpact Buy the PRI upper receiver vise block and you'll be fine. It locks up the receiver via the pivot pins and the non milspec receiver with the high riser won't be an issue.
