LANCASTER, Pa. – State Rep. David Zimmerman wants to eliminate the concealed carry fee currently charged for applicants who are honorably discharged veterans or are 65-years old and older.

The Lancaster County Republican has the support of county commissioner, Josh Parson.

“We have a large senior citizen population here, we also have a large veterans population here, so I would anticipate that many of those people would take advantage of this change,” says Parson.

Lancaster County Sheriff, Chris Leppler, also supports the legislation to eliminate the fees.
