Why this is the best CA featureless AR stock & how to install it

I am building a new 308 AR and making it featureless. To do that I need a fixed stock and no pistol grip. Fortunately the Thordsen Custom Gen 3 stock checks both boxes and lets me still look cool without sacrificing functionality.

  1. Just to clarify on the tools list, you technically need a #2 Philips head, but as you saw I used a flat head. I explained why in the video.
Also the technical spec of the hex head bolt is a 3/16" Allen wrench but the metric set was the first one I could find and the 4.5mm fit like a glove so use what you like/have.

  2. Keep fiddling all you want, your willingness to comply every time they make up new stupid laws is the reason your guns will be rendered useless or banned altogether. Evidently, your right to bear arms is less important than following the law to the letter.

  3. Thordsen FRS Gen III is the best ! Ergonomically design perfect the rest is for butterfly thumb fairy guys, control of the rifle is perfect , safe and comfortable, excellent product! Thanks for ur video and background . Cheers

  4. Fucking liberals. Anti-American pieces of shit. They want us to be unarmed because they don't feel safe. Honestly, why aren't they in Canada right now like they said they'd go to when Trump won? Oh yeah, they're too broke as fuck to be able to move.

  5. Well these stupid laws come to effect stupid gang members decide to shoot other gang members in public they are the ones that make it stupid now ask the government did they get their weapons legally..yeah thats what i thought…! They also forget their laws force people underground and we all know there is better weapons available in the black market idiots ,alot better

  6. For some reason you're stuck doesn't look right.
Where it meets up with the pistol grip towards the rear it's off by a little bit and where the buffer tube Meats the bottom of the stock seems too far away I know they're supposed to be a gap but it looks like it's not fitting correctly or you may have got the wrong one

  7. I don't recall any mag restrictions put on L.E.O's or SWAT. Also the force doesn't have to make AR's compliant like that. Why should civilians follow these laws when government employees are exempted from these unconstitutional laws. If police have AR's in normal configuration with standard cap mags of 30 rounds, then so should the people of the United states. Anything else is just unamerican

  8. CA legislature has shot itself in the foot again with the obnoxious featureless stock. They have made handling the firearm awkward and DANGEROUS. Just what we need is a more dangerous to use firearm! Thanks Jerry moonbeam Brown. Less control of a semi-auto NON-assault weapon is a bad thing. I'd bet accidental firings is going to increase. Non compliance is the order of the day. You cannot legislate morality or insanity gov. brown you idiot fruit cake.

  9. Your voice audio level is far, far lower than your intro. You can get audio cheaply by simply talking into a cheap lavalier mic, plugged into your phone, and using an audio recorder app. You could also get something like a Zoom recorder (used less than $100), and then edit it into the overall production (you are already doing editing, so this is just one more step, and it really makes it professional to have good audio).

  10. Thanks for sharing. I just wonder how long it will take the Communist in Sacramento to modify their assault weapon bills to say something like, "any weapon converted from its original configuration away from a bullet button and removable mag must be registered too…"

  11. I recently built a 308, and chose to not go with this option for a couple reasons.

    1. The pistol grip bolt is the only thing absorbing the recoil force of the (already larger recoiling) 308. That's a lot of force I don't think is wise to place soley onto the bolt as a single point of failure.

    2. The extra added weight you take on by adding this compared to other options is fairly debilitating for anything other than a gun you take out and shoot from a table or just the back of your truck.

That being said, I think the it's still a great option for an AR15, and I'm glad the thorsden has the flexibility to be used on a 308 to help give people options.

  12. Know what I have in mind? I already know the type of AR rifle I want. But it comes to the 'scary rifle grip' part…yeah….I don't like these fixed mag type and have those fin fish tail grip block.

    I'm Asian. I don't have big hands.

If I go with the Thordsen Gen 3 stock. I won't be able to reach the safely and the mag release. I came up with 2 ways for me only to solve my problems….but it will cost more money out of my pocket.

1: Buy the Odin Works XMR 2. (It's some sort of extended mag release kit. So my right index finger will be able to reach the mag release without having me to take my right hand off the rifle and release the mag). Buy the Radian Talon Ambi Safely. (This allows me to switch the safely from the left and put it on the right. So I can switch the safely on or off using my right index finger without having to take my left hand off the forward grip to mess with the safely)

2: I can buy those MA Loaders(Mean Arms Loader) which can help me reload my AR. It will be like a stripper clip fed type reloading style. (These MA Loaders are mostly used for fixed mag type ARs. In my case I like to mix things around). But I also heard by review on these because they break easily. The loaders are usually made of plastic.
