Dude what a wast of money, you could have bought a 5 dollar RIT dye kit from Walmart and booooom all the parts are black and it takes 5 minutes to do it.

Nice. My magpul furniture was the fde. Eventually I got tired of the color, I changed mine up with Ritz color dye. Boil and let sit for ten minutes
I would of just painted it and called it good.
Just a thought , but for the price of a can of spray paint you could of saved a lot of money .

Thanks so much, I'm new to adjusting these things and I was trying to figure out why the fore end wasn't fitting and I was almost certainly going to have to "do something" with the barrel and gas location, but then I rewatched you install it and realized I had the top part backwards! lol.

the handguard is the worst to install the rest seems like a breeze. best recommend is install all rails and sights before putting that guard on it's a great way to prevent injuries. and does Magpul make a compensated stock? if so where do I find it?

With the AR 556 when replacing the hand guard instead of pulling it back and struggling with that you can just twist it on the AR 556.

When getting the Magpul butt-stock be aware there are 2 different sizes available because the buffer tube diameter for the Mil-Spec is a different size than "civilian aftermarket/manufacturer" buffer tubes. Make sure to order the correct one.

Sweet looking rifle. I just purchased the OD Green furniture, want it to be somewhat camo for hunting. But the black is sweet. What brand is that front sight? Like the looks of the triangular front sight, my rifle came with a picatinny rail on top of my gas block for adding front sights. And I like the looks of yours much better.
