  1. I have had a few 5.11 TPT L2's so far. I've had three of them, two of them had broken tail caps from falling or whatever damage. Luckily the caps didn't shatter so I was able to redneck tape the caps so they still work. I really love 5.11 flashlights because they're bright and durable as hell. I lost multiple flashlights on my last deployment, so surefire lights are a little too expensive for that. I changed to a 5.11 metal light and that guy works like champ.

  2. Good video, but I would have liked to know if either have color lenses and traffic cones available for car breakdown use.ย  Also, I just checked 511's store and the TPT is on sale for $20 as of 10/09/2018.

  3. I use a stream light micro stream for my edc since it only takes one AAA battery and I have carried it for 4 years straight. Only issue is the clip has broken a couple times but I contact streamlight and the send a new one right away. That being said this streamlight will seams to be a good option as a weapon light since it would be a dedicated light.

  4. If these were AA I'd probably buy both of them. I do not care for 123 batts, expensive and I've found them to be unreliable. The only light I still have that is 123 is my old G2 and it is not one of my primary use lights.

  5. I am a fan of rechargeable flashlights and cr123 batteries get expensive and i have yet to find good rechargeable cr123 batteries. I just feel there are way better options then cr123 like 18650 or the batteries i have for my thrunite catapult v6

  6. The streamlight is programmable. There are three settings. The one it is in. Then a low/high setting. Then high only setting. I have one mounted as a weapon light in high only mode. To switch modes just tap the switch ten times then hold, you should see it do a mode switch indication then shut off, it is relatively easy to do.

  7. Great review. Both are well-known manufacturers. Probably canโ€™t go wrong with either light, but I agree with below comment. I would prefer an edc light to use commonly available batteries. The CR123 are still kind of pricey and hard to find.

  8. Cool video but I like my flashlight to take batteries u can buy at the local 7-11 or a rechargeable one.CR123 arenโ€™t carried in most stores and I want a better chance at keeping my light going if shtf.

  9. As a YouTuber myself I really appreciate your videos. Iโ€™m like you in the fact that I focus on very thorough/detailed reviews. Great video as always. Question: what camera do you use and what video editing software are you running?

  10. Early morning video……east coast ๐Ÿ‘
