Showing the install of a Palmetto State Armory lower parts kit into a New Frontier polymer lower. I did have to do some modifications to the lower, but they where very easy to do.
A big thanks to …

  1. Whhhooooo-Hoooo! Guns n booze, just what made America DANGEROUS !!!! Hahahahahaha! Got a few new frontier lowers for cheap experiment builds . They arent combat grade-as If a suburbanite needs Afghanistan grade guns- but they work as plinkers! My BCM and Spikes carbines are for HD….

  2. I just did this swap and liked the polymer FCG better than the metal. The mag release that came in polymer also functions better so i left the original in and only used the metal button. The polymer safety selector worked better and even has the ambidextrous option, but cannot be used with other FCG's. I did however keep the metal detents and pivot pins Very happy with those. I had to dremel out the lower before every part went in. Not one thing was a perfect fit.  Who knew?

  3. Yes it would .. The quality of the parts will make a difference on how it feels when you flip the switch.
That is why I only use safety's from Battle Arms Development.

  4. great video…thanks. just started my 1st build and it is with the lw-15. i have my lower complete and i am eager to start buying parts for the upper. thanks again and keep up the good work.

  5. I have a Palmetto upper at home with a New Frontier complete lower on the way. I'm gonna build a Palmetto lower too as a bottom kit (less receiver) came with my upper…waitin' on an Xmas sale or something for good priced Palmetto lower.

I see you have the AB Mod1 hand guard. I like these but won't buy one because I've heard you can't use the front sling attachment without eventually breaking the hand guard.

  6. Mine is going in flush its tilted. Did that happen to your? How did you fix that? Drill out the hole? I been having issues with a lot of items that I lightly sanded areas to get items that were to tight into

  7. Thanks for the video. I am thinking of doing the same thing and it will be very helpful in my build. I was wandering, when you had to make adjustments and remove material how did you go about doing that? Did you use a drill bit, reamer, file, ect. Obviously precision is key here and I do not want ruin a perfectly good lower by removing to much material. Thanks for any advice you can give.

  8. Ebomey damnit, I was looking at vids and saw this one, hell I missed it. I think ill go ahead and order the NF and have it in stock since there cheap. I done went and spent 195 on my core15 and CMMG LPK. Hell with it i'll do 2 builds, 1 for me and 1 for my bride. Sorry if spelling bad, im drinking…%)~
