Love my G23 although initially not so much because I didn't get a G19. My local gun store rep sold me on the idea of the G23 being "3 guns in one" and I took the bait. Now I have come around on that and I love my 23. It is also my "bump in the night" gun because I trust Glock to work each and every time I pull the trigger and I also like the fact that .40 S&W will stop the threat quick. I trust my family's security to the GLOCK 23 Gen4.
How many rounds have you put through your weapon with your TLR-2 on it and have you had an malfunctions? Just wondering because Ive heard of malfunctions with glocks in the .40 cal platform because of the .40 cal being a high pressure round and shakes the frame of the gun in a way the 9mm and .45 dont. also you gotta get that green laser that way you can see it in the day time and the light wont drown it out
I got a G23 with a light also for my HD. I got the gen4 with the xiphos light….. and may I recommend the Winchester Talons rounds….. check out tnoutdoors9's review. Pretty much the same thing as black talons but without the hype.
i would hit someone with a baseball bat before resorting to lethal force a baseball bat could be lethal but if you use it right it will most likely just incapacitate them long enough for the authorities to arrive
Do you live on campus? If so, what is the University of Alabama's rule about guns in housing on campus? I live in Reno and go to the University of Nevada, Reno. If you want your guns with you and you live on campus you have to check them at a lock-up room on campus. Also, what is the status of Concealed Carry on the University of Alabama campus?
My most favorite air soft gun is Glock 26 so called a machine gun pistol in Japan. It is effective to give a bad guy a decent damage at his face in a very close distance. And then I will take a knife. Just in case a bad guy came into my office. He is not expected to carry a gun but a knife in Japan. Hand guns are totally forbidden to own legally and the penalty is very severe like 5 year jailed. Thanks.

@soul0luos Concealing a gun 99% of the time is much more about the holster than the gun, but generally no.
Hydra-shocks are decent , but look into some Speer Gold Dots or Federal HST. These are far superior JHPs
guns allowed on campus here in texas!
@26point2madness Trust me, I have used that argument ad nauseum. They just don't want to hear it. Very good point though.
@jdavis882 When the bad guys come on campus, do they also have to lock up their guns in the UAPD's armory?
@xDEMONIZEDx As for the status of SCCC, not many people take us seriously. I doubt I will see any change in policy while I am here.
@xDEMONIZEDx Nah I don't live on campus, just for that reason. Absolutely ZERO guns allowed on campus unless they are locked up in the UAPD's armory.
