  1. Hello, That is a Made in the USA – UTG PRO 6 Position MIL-SPEC M4/AR15
Collapsible Stock Assembly, I sell them on my web site, TriggerShims on the AR-15 page.

I like it a lot, Leapers UTG is a Michigan company and the Quality of their Made in the USA items is Outstanding. I have been a dealer with them since about 2009 and recommend all their products highly.

Thanks for stopping by, Good Shooting, Lance

  2. It should be fine, I like to keep an extra spring kit on hand, DPMS makes a nice package part number BP04

It is available through Brownells (link on my web site) and is under $20

    Good Shooting, Lance

  3. I just removed my A2 Stock on a Colt AR sporter which I purchased new in 1992. I was surprised to see a bent Take down retainer spring when I removed the spring? This was the first time removing the stock? I was able to straighten the spring some what but there is a small gap in the spring. I'm not sure if the spring will work again but thought I would try it and see. Can the spring be damaged inside somehow? The spring doesn't seem all that critical?

    Thanks

  4. The buffer tube on these is 6061-T6 aluminum as opposed to the 7075-T6 on the higher end tubes, but you will most likely never see a difference. The fit and finish are very nice, and there is absolutely NO wobble with the stock. I paid under $50 for mine, my only complaint is the buffer is awfully clunky.

  5. Was that a full size A2 with the 20 inch barrel or a carbine? I am looking to put a collapsible stock on my A2 but am unsure if it will cycle right with the smaller carbine bufferspring and buffertube.
