No, the lens cover does not afftect the reticle. It actually reduces glare a bit while protecting the optic.

Well of course it's a replica. This is airsoft. This is what our channel represents.

This depends on how far away the bb came from. At 200 ft it should hold up no problem but at 100 ft it could break. Get a lens cover just in case.

oh and one more question: do you think the lens would hold up to a bb hit?

I am thinking of getting this for a KWA SR10, is it accurate for long ranges?

I play airsoft and have the same sight (smaller version though) its is for airsoft use only because although it has the ballistic capabilities of with standing a bb from long (LONG RANGE! it will break at close range) their not designed to withstand any shrapnel from real bullets and will shatter (but obviously when shooting a real gun you should be wearing eye protection) but that is why it is for airsoft use only (and there are some copyright things as well) so they need to put that on there

The brightness is great on either the red dot or green dot. Green dot works the best for sunny and night ops. At night it can be adjusted perfectly and in the day it can be adjusted perfectly. It's a win win situation haha. I would only recommend the red dot in cloudier, darker days because it is a lot less bright.

why for airsoft use only?

this sight is mediocre at best.
