The Streamlight Microstream is a super-compact, light-weight flashlight that is great as a back-up or an EDC light in situations where you can’t carry a larger light. Drop-resistant, 28 lumens, run-time of over 2 hours, and life-time of around 50,000 hours – it’s a great deal for around $15 from most retailers.

  1. Dude. Your a preacher. That's awesome. I'm a preachers kid haha. Pretty cool to find a preacher that's into this kind of stuff. On Sunday mornings I'm in blue jeans a tee shirt with all my gear on me. Keep doing the vids bro.

  2. I need to pick this up.  I just bought a nano from them, and it's good, but not quite good enough (the battery is seriously annoying).

The fact that it's brighter than most cheapy flashlights out there is good, and I do like the ability to improvise a headlamp.  🙂

  3. I use mine daily and I love it BUT the switch stopped functioning after two months. The SnapOn dealer saiid the stream lights have more issues than the coast versions. The pocket clip on mine was great and I use the lanyard on my belt in case it slips out of my pocket.

To me this light is great except the switch durability issues.

  4. I have the ProTac 2L and it's a similar design. Love the light, but the pocket clip is of poor design. As soon as you try and place it over a pocket seam, it goes flying off. I wish they had an option to make the clips more permanent. Good review though.
