are the sight pins different on on a colt 6720 pencil barrel,on mine it looks like one end is larger or mashed,and whats the name of that site block or were did you buy it the only block i have seen is the one from brownell's.

Getting ready to start my first ar build and want to stick with an a2 block. I'm looking at my current ar while watching this and am wondering if anything on the barrel has to be drilled out before the pins can be inserted? it look like the pins recess into the barrel, any tips on how to do it?
