So *our* AR-15 build and giveaway with Brownells is coming to a conclusion and I’ve assembled the upper, completing the entire build! I hope you enjoy the video, I will be doing some testing of the rifle after this to make sure it works as expected.

Please note: not every step is shown in full detail in the build. My vise is in another room so that is not shown, but be assured that I properly torqued everything to manufacturer specs (handguard nut, handguard bolts, scope mount, brake, etc). Also, I did use grease on the buffer tube as well as the handguard nut, and locktite where needed. This includes high-temp locktite on the gas block, which was attached to the barrel after dimples were added for screws.

  1. That is a sweet rifle! I know this is an old giveaway video, but no expense spared! I would love to try out a proof barrel! Great build video, very informative! And the smiles are a bonus!

  2. Wow, that is the best of the Bauhaus rifles I've seen! Also, great economy of words in your explanation – kept me on track. Usually I float away and have to replay parts. Did you post the test? I'm looking…

  3. Can anybody help me? I'm building my first ar15 and I have the lower some just can't decide what to do about upper receiver…im lookimg at troy industries or brownells? Can anyone point me in a good direction or tell me some tips?

  4. I was skeptical at first thinking you were just a marketing tool to attract a male dominated audience. After watching this series it appears you have a good basic knowledge of the subject and demonstrated some excellent dexterity in the assembly process. i hope you are inspiring more women to not be intimidated by the shooting sports so they can join in the fun. Thanks, and much success to you in your gun shop business
