0-500 Yard Rifle: SPR AR-15

I'm in the process of doing my first "low cost" AR assembly, a Recce. It's basically a 0-600 AR-15. Looking forward to viewing your follow-up video.

Nice AR… You are correct about the RR trigger. I took a tactical entry 16" and turned it into a SPR. Running a 20" 223 Wylde Lother Walther 1:8 barrel, a 12" YHM handguard. I mounted a fixed 10 power on it because I typically shoot 300yrds. The point I wanted to make before getting carried away is that I installed a geissele SSA-E, which is a nice trigger, but the RR trigger broke noticeably cleaner at about the same weight.

I need to learn to zero my scope in I just bought a Remington 700 but have no idea how to zero in the scope it my first scoped rifle

I love comments about people hitting 300-500 yards with iron sights. Let me know how that goes when you are in your forties and fifties! I am in my late forties and I have trouble focusing on my front sight of my pistol! I need an optic to take piss and not miss the toilet. lol

Why is there a qd mount for a sling on the rail? The key mod rail is one big mount for qd sling.

More often than not the main problem is choice.

Shoulda stuck a .223 wylde barrel. Great accuracy for that 223 round

I'm a Marine and we shoot out to 500 yards with iron sight with 16" barrels.now we have to use a x4 trigacon so 500yards you don't need a scope for 500 yard with a man size target

I dont think people give enough credit to the modern 5.56 and modern ar15. you can hit targets pretty far there are countless articles online with shooters consistently hitting targets around and farther than 1000 yards. it may not hit hard but it will mess you up.

What does a set up like that cost.
