Another how to:

I’ve finally gotten around to installing the PSA LPK on my Seekins Precision stripped lower receiver. I first must warn you that this is NOT a how to video. I’m no master gunsmith and I’m sure I even screw up some of the lingo. This video was recorded just to show you guys how I did things when installing everything. You don’t need to go out there and buy a vice of any kind. As you see from the video, I didn’t use a vice, and everything went together just fine. However I did go out and buy a pair of angular needle nose pliers and a small hammer. Those two tools are a must in my opinion. The hammer alone was worth in when installing the bolt catch. The next step is going to be figuring out what upper and barrel to go with. Thanks for watching, take care.

  1. I used a PSA lpk in my second build last year and i regreted it because the trigger was very shitty, but about a few months back they sent me a new gen2 trigger because i complained so much but i had already sold the rifle i hear the gen2 lpk are *****

  2. Thanks man, I'm glad to hear it wasn't a waste. Doing a voice over absolutely sucked, I won't be doing that again. That's probably why it took me weeks to get around to editing it, it was a pain in the ass. Thanks again, take care.

  3. 5.56 at the moment, I haven't completely decided yet. Personally I just don't know if the 300 Black Out is worth it. Now that is just my opinion, if someone else loves that round, more power to them. For what I use my rifle for, shooting targets, 5.56 works just fine for me. Plus that's just one more round I would have to invest money in. As it sits now I have to buy 9mm, .40 S&W, .45 ACP, 5.56, .22LR, 12 gauge, 7.62×39, and 5.45×39. I think that's enough for me, I don't need any more.

  4. Ya it's nice but 2 stages offer lighter trigger pull, and when you need to be accurate, just take up that first stage, then it's just a light click until the hammer drops. But for a regular carbine, the psa trigger is awesome!

  5. Thanks for the input. I'll take off the buttstock and clean everything. I did not have this issue with my milspec buffer tube on my AK74. This one must've shown up dirty and just needs to be cleaned.

  6. You know I just got the 3 lowers on a lark in Nov last year. I've been turning them into rifles. I'm still not done… I don't have unlimited money after all but I did get the LPKs and now I'm working on the last upper.

  7. I installed a PSA kit in my forged billet lower. The trigger had a large chip in it . It took me 1.5 hours to polish it out, but now I don't have a lot of confidence in it. Also the safety doesn't point right(1-2) degrees off. I got my kit at the peak of all the crazy shit…just got a bad one.

  8. well i had a stag lower that i put my LPK into and it was awesome. had that coupled with a POF USA upper for a while. then i bought a PSA full rifle from the local store and basically modeled it after your bushmasters from your early posts, magpuled to the max. haha. i've heard good things about the seekins. hope you find what you're lookin for!

  9. Just a quick FYI, the hammer you got is a Tack Hammer. It's magnetic on the side that's split. You set the tack head on it, give it and whack it into what ever your fastening. That starts the tack and then you use the other side to drive it in.

  10. I know the PSA trigger isn't consider a competition trigger but the thing is awesome. It shoots so much nicer than my Bushmaster. I'm pumped for this build I just need to figure out what upper to go with. I'm not sure if I want to do one of those beefy uppers or a standard one. It's probably going to be a Mega Arms or Seekins Precision upper. I really like the sharp edges on those things.
