Finally have my scope mounted on my Savage Axis .308 the way I want it. It is a Nikon Prostaff 3-9×50, and I added a full length Weaver rail and ended up using BSA adjustable steel 1″ scope rings. Haven’t had time to shoot it yet, but hopefully one day this week after work, or this weekend I’ll be able to get it set up and zeroed.
Thanks for lookin,
Donnie D
I had an axis 223 bought from Walmart for 280$ decent entry level rifle stocks flimsy when on a bipod trigger sucks…..had a bb 93r17 with the acutrigger that pit the axis to shame though
Ive just never ran across a 308 that I would say kicked! Much less kicked like a mule! Ive seen young kids shoot the 308 with no problem of recoil whatsoever.
How does a 308 kick like a mule? Ive never heard those two words in the same sentence!!!
How do you like the gun and scope combination?
I just bought the same scope for my loaded M1A 7.62. Have zeroed it in with a bore laser, and am looking forward to snapping it in at 200 yds this week. Will check it out at 400-500 in the future, but anticipate it will perform well. Thanks for the video.
Good video, helped me a lot! I have the same rifle and still looking for a scope.
Nice score, get some light and field of view with that.
Very nice, I am considering a Savage as well. Like what you did with it.
