I would go for the 9mm with the 8" barrel. Less recoil and more speed to help the expansion of hollow points.

Id put a tube on the end just so I would not blow off my hand.  Id like that in a carbine more than a pistol.  The only thing I like about AR pistols is it allows me legally to have a 10 round rifle mag in Canada if the gun uses a pistol mag. So guns like the LAR 15 pistol allow me to have 10 rounds in my T97 bullpup. Pistol mags in Canada are regulated to 10 rounds and semi auto centre fire rifles are 5 rounds generally.  Id love to have an AR but in Canada they are restricted, and AKs are prohibited ??? I don't need a restricted rifle, when I can have a copy of a military rifle like the T97 that is not restricted and does exactly the same thing uses exactly the same mags and shoots exactly the same ammo.

If it only has a 5 inch barrel and shoots 45 acp, why not get a glock 41 instead and get some magazines and ammo instead?

I am a big fan of the pistol caliber carbine or guns like the CMMG. Don't know if this gun counts as a PCC. I can shoot them so much more easily than .233 or other rifle calibers. The size is right too, for what I can lift and sustain as I take aim. Thank you!

If you want something with a 5 inch barrel that takes glock magazine, why not just buy a glock ? You could buy 2 glocks and set them up nicely for the price of this thing. It would make more sense if the cmmg had a 10 inch barrel that way you would get more velocity and a longer sight radius.

Almost 3x the cost of a ruger pc9, too much $$ for not much more performance.

The scope seems a little over the top for home defense where a long shot is across a room. Could be helpful for shooting across ponds though. 😉 Thanks for the vid.
