The 6.5 is a target gun designed to shoot 600 yrds thats it! Its doesn't have shit for energy @1000yrds or certainly not much @ 1 mile. Good for metal targets but bad for game. Im not drinking the Kool-Aid!

I'm so glad they came out with the 6.5 Creedmore.  My 260Rem and 264WM were failing miserably at everything, but now I can continue to shoot this caliber.

I know – right!!! The entry cost for the 1200 meter range near me is $1000 and that is on top of the annual fees! With all the 6.5 Creeds out there, there is a bunch of guys willing to pay. Used to be in membership fees. Damn 6.5 Creed!

Yes why buy a 6.5 when you only have 500 yards. I would rather have a .224. Maybe a.260.
