I've always known them for their scopes brother, but yea there great, that's all I use on my shotguns and rifles most others blow up, fog or won't hold zero in that price range, great stuff
Hi, I went with Weaver Steel Scope rings on a GGGaz Riser. I have always had great luck with Weaver rings, as they are Picatinny compatable. They come in 5 sizes, ex. short, short, med, high, and see through. I always get the shortest ones I can. Combining this scope on a scout riser with folding front and rear sights ( Midwest or Yankee Hill have been my favorites sofar) has worked out very well for me. The Nikon P223 3x is also the most compact scope of it's type on the market. Incredibly clear glass, and extremely durable.
FYI the UTG quick detach 1'' scope rings work for this scope.. i know bcuz i have one and both the scope and rings work great.. the rings they want you to get suck, are over priced and dont fit allot of picatinny rails

The Nikon scope mounts were completely unnecessary for your setup.
I had to use the millet scope mount 30 bucks at walmart
Did your front sight post get in the way?
I have the same rifle you have and I tried getting the p series mounts on there and they didn't fit
Can you push this forward enough to fit a back-up iron sight?
Linking to this for a review im doing on this same product coming out soon. njgunblog.com and firearmsinsider.tv
