Just picked the Prostaff 7i up last night and tried it across my apartment's living room but no distance appeared, just that "X" symbol like it was taking a measurement. I'm hoping it's just due to the range being too short. I will say that it's kinda frickin hard to see the digital readout in the lens (the measurement, crosshair, everything). I felt like the eye relief was like a quarter millimeter or something and the readout was blurry or hard to see if you weren't looking through it absolutely perfectly. Maybe I just need some more time with it, cause it does seem like a nice piece.
