  1. Ar-15 (pistols) seem retarded to me, it’s a short barreled rifle. I wish people would quit making this something it isn’t, it’s like watching people trying to figure out what bathroom to use. Look how you have to shoot it…..like a rifle.

  2. Great video Sootch. I've been doing a little research online. An I have decided to build an AR pistol. Thanks for the info on '10.5 inch barrel. I was going to go '8.5. I'm glad you said that in the video. An as far as the paracord goes. When I applie my paracord to the buffer tube. Do I put the apoxy on the buffer tude then wrap it???

  3. i only buy private party. no registration, background checks, 4473 or any bullshit in a free state like florida. still do it the legal way, run the serial on various websites, photo each others driver license and ccw card and both sign bill of sale with all details, but no need for govt to know of any transactions

  4. Can't say for every state I guess but at least where I'm from it does NOT have to say pistol on the lower. And on the form it says OTHER, not pistol. But yes must not ever use a lower that began life as a rifle. Good video, thanks

  5. The NFA or ATF does not inforce anything related to SBR's I have 1 and I also have an unregistered suppresor and I got to the range all the time… I've even showed the off duty officers my suppressor at the range, they shot it as well.

  6. The NFA is controlled by the IRS, so we are being taxed for a right… This is what happens when you give a Democrat a little power, even for a short amount of time. Before you know it your rights are being taxed and other things are being banned.

  7. Sootch, way too much repeat info, for those of us in the know of the of a laws, I was looking for something more advanced in info. Urg!
Just realized this video was 5 years old. Wow! things have changed.

  8. Nice video! I know it's a few years old, but I thought I'd toss in that angled foregrips are legal on AR pistols, and you can run a full foregrip as long as the total overall length (without flash hider), is over 26" from the back of the buffer tube to the tip of the barrel. It changes the designation from 'pistol' to 'firearm'.
