Now that’s an old video lol looking for hand guard.
How do you think it would be on a Saint ?
I cannot this handguard on midlength.
Thanks for a video. Just picked up 4 of them for 10 bucks each new. 🙂 Let's see how they hold up.
can these go on a 308 AR style rifle?
can these go on a 308 AR style rifle
A2 sight needed for this handguard or can it be mounted as free float ?
should i still buy this in 2016
No I dont like is to hi

Did this handguard automatically make the front sling attachment unusable?
Funny… Slide fire co makes this same handguard!
Ebay 40 bucks
What you are referring to isn't the length of the barrel, but the length of the gas system (carbine, mid-length and rifle). It is the distance of the gas port from the bolt carrier. The closer the hole is (on the barrel) the higher the pressures and the higher the forces involved with cycling the bolt carrier group (fire, cycle the bolt carrier back, extract spent case, and buffer spring pushes the bolt carrier forward stripping a new round from the magazine and loading in the chamber)
yeah the elevated rail on the handguard is the real drawback that I'm seeing on this otherwise I'm a fan of the design.
I have a Norinco M4 10.5 carbine. Can u tell me if my weapon will handle the AB Arms handguard
What makes these better than the Magpul MOE handguards ?
Also how come the rail on the handguards are more elevated than the receiver rails?
Just ordered one, $38 on Amazon.
Yes the Magpul MOE rails do fit on this hand guard as per abarms.com.
I wish they had a rifle length handguard. They are really missing business for all the mid length carbines, and 20" rifles
i wish they made a mid lenght one
Looks like the handguard gets in the way of the front sling mount. Does it?
Reminds me somewhat of the Strike Industries handguard
Great video as always! Do you know if the Magpul rails will fit this handguard? Looks like they should. Thanks!
nevermind… i found it…
Hey Sootch00! Just wanted to let you know that you made at least one sale for AB Arms because of your video. 😉 I recently upgraded my very basic AR-15 by replacing the fiberlite handguard with the AB Arms one, and replacing the fixed stock with a Magpul MOE(the one that comes with the buffer tube, castle nut, etc.). I haven't been to the range yet, but I love the feel of the AB Arms handguard(and the Magpul stock!). Well worth the $66($60+$6 s&h)! So thanks for reviewing it! 😀
You might want to check Magpul's channel out, too. Look for the video that talks about the pistol grip. That might chage how you use & think about it.
@IndianaGeologist Hello Indiana. The rail is set at riser height. If you run your rifle short this comes in handy. Thanks
I don't know why they put the top rail so high? I like my rails to be even with the upper receiver's rail……
Sootch, I have that same Phantom flash hider. Love it!
Only 60 bucks…wow
your cameras MIC is great, it captures true acutic perspective dynamics of your guns as you fire them…
wow that is easily the sexiest M4/AR handguard ive ever seen!
@samuraitactical556 Belive it or not, some people are are efficent with iron sights!
Nice video. How about Skate board tape for the bottom?
sweet grip / never had anything like that in the army 76-79 wish i could afford something past a 22 LOL
Have you seen the M4 Tactical Flared Magwell & Grip? I installed one on my AR and I love it! so I went and bought 3 more for my other AR's. I like the concept of the whole thing, works good. I only recommend the ones made here in the USA. No grinding to make it fit. and they won't hurt the pocket book.
Damn it Sootch! Now I have to buy another item you reviewed! LOL
Magpul has a cool new angled grip (AFG-Angled Fore Grip) you should try out. I'm hearing that several of my friends in the field are liking it.
