Have you looked into the fixed mad route? I have the 33.3 Calcatch kit Gen 3 and I'm able to use pistol grip, adjustable buttstock etc.

i tried to modify my new CA compliant M&P 15 SPORT to the grip you showed in the video but the new model mp15 buffer tube is longer than previous generation. its like 10 inches long, the buffer tube cover is too short and the grip cannot be installed since it will stuck with the buffer tube, what's the buffer tube length show in your video ? i think i need to order a new one to finish the modification 🙁

These thordsen stocks are pretty fitted so the rubber mallet is going to be a required tool unless you want to manhandle it into place. I just let the screw pull it into its final position. I got mines on eBay for $109 plus small shipping which is still less than the $120-140 everywhere else.

Just go with the mag lock sistem, we already had to deal with the bullet button, which was harder to operate. I always had an issue finding a "tool" in my pocket to release my mag. With the magazine lock You don't need a tool, how about that, and you and your rifle won't look stupid…wow.
