The new P-308 is yet another strong, feature-filled optic to compliment Nikon’s up-and-coming line of riflescopes built with 30mm main body tubes. Quickly becoming a staple among long-range shooters, 30mm riflescopes offer the advantage of a large internal adjustment range for windage and elevation. In the case of the new P-308, the max internal adjustment is 90 MOA.
The BDC 800 reticle featured on the P-308 is designed for shooting long-range distances with rifles chambered in .308 WIN. The reticle is calibrated to match the ballistics of 168-grain hollow point boat tail match grade ammunition with an approximate muzzle velocity of 2680 feet per second.
