I bet the Streamlight lasts 10x longer. I bought a Ti3 and it lasted just under 2 years, nothing visibly broken just won't turn on…I bet its the "cpu" that fried that controls the modes…the simple Streamlight that I just ordered I bet goes for at least 5+ years being simple.
I own the stremlight and the t5t.the t5t is garbage it shreads gaskets, and the clip is a pain in the ass to line up when putting the tail cap on and only works half the time when changing modes.
Being able to click the streamlight onto your hat. It also comes with a lanyard to carry around your neck. The new version has constant 45 lumen. I'd take ( and did) the Streamlight over the Trunight. Having only 30 min on the 100 lumen or the next step down at 10 lumens ( WIDE light variation levels!!!) for 6 hours still, to me, is not good enough. I'd rather have a constant 45 lumens for over 2 hours. And I'm tech savvy yes. That hat clip and the lanyard are outstanding additions
I have both of these lights and I would only slightly give the edge the Streamlight because of the single brightness and the rubber switch cap. The only thing I dislike is the poor spring steel used in the clip. It bends very easily and the hat /brim portion of the clip gets caught on things all the time. I am forever bending it back into shape.
Just got the stream light. I like the size and Finnish and momentary switch. I paid $30 🙁 To much light sometimes, not enough sometimes. But I'm used to my olight s15 baton that I consider the best light EVER made. I'm still glad I got this light because of its size and Finnish and momentary switch . Definitely a keeper
For you to say that the microstream is for someone who's not as tech savvy is kind of offensive. Besides, for a carry that's that small, I wouldn't want it to do all that fancy stuff. That's what bigger brother's for.

clip on streamlight is for attaching to a ballcap!
Streamlight will repair and if necessary, replace lights free of charge – minus Shipping & Handling Costs. You cannot beat that deal……. 🇺🇸
Get the USB version of the stream light. U can get the same run time with around 200 lumens.
I just bought my second streamlight yesterday.
The microstream has two outputs. I say this as I hold mine in my hand.
Its not a pocket clip.
I love the microstream. I prefer a simple mode (on and off) and a nice proud tail button. Just personal opinion
I want to switch out the design and have the design of the streamlight with the specs of thre thrunight, argh
Tail-standing is useless.
You dumb its meant for the brim of your hat. Great video thou

the double clip is for your hat
Hey CL. I don’t know if you knew this, but the Microstream’s clip lets you clip it to the bill of a hat! 🙂
I guess I'd call mself a gear head and I'd definitely take the microstream .. on the other light 30 minutes is way to little
Idiot s clip is for your hat

I got the Ti5T for 15 dollars
THE STREAMLIGHT CAN BE CLIPPED TO YOUR HAT BRO!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
lol love the vid it's just funny you didn't talk about the clip design being able to clip to your hat. Upside down in the pocket? I suppose!

Good review and comparison, the streamlight's S clip is made so it can be hang on the brim of your hat

I just want to make a correction. The Ti5 and Ti5T do tailstand…but the surface must be flat.
Great vid!i just cancelled my stream light order and got the thrunight so i can be Tactical! Lol
