  1. I bet the Streamlight lasts 10x longer. I bought a Ti3 and it lasted just under 2 years, nothing visibly broken just won't turn on…I bet its the "cpu" that fried that controls the modes…the simple Streamlight that I just ordered I bet goes for at least 5+ years being simple.

  2. I own the stremlight and the t5t.the t5t is garbage it shreads gaskets, and the clip is a pain in the ass to line up when putting the tail cap on and only works half the time when changing modes.

  3. Being able to click the streamlight onto your hat. It also comes with a lanyard to carry around your neck. The new version has constant 45 lumen. I'd take ( and did) the Streamlight over the Trunight. Having only 30 min on the 100 lumen or the next step down at 10 lumens ( WIDE light variation levels!!!) for 6 hours still, to me, is not good enough. I'd rather have a constant 45 lumens for over 2 hours. And I'm tech savvy yes. That hat clip and the lanyard are outstanding additions

  4. I have both of these lights and I would only slightly give the edge the Streamlight because of the single brightness and the rubber switch cap. The only thing I dislike is the poor spring steel used in the clip. It bends very easily and the hat /brim portion of the clip gets caught on things all the time. I am forever bending it back into shape.

  5. Just got the stream light. I like the size and Finnish and momentary switch. I paid $30 🙁
To much light sometimes, not enough sometimes. But I'm used to my olight s15 baton that I consider the best light EVER made. I'm still glad I got this light because of its size and Finnish and momentary switch . Definitely a keeper

  6. For you to say that the microstream is for someone who's not as tech savvy is kind of offensive. Besides, for a carry that's that small, I wouldn't want it to do all that fancy stuff. That's what bigger brother's for.
